Ground conditions & local factors
- The Point of the Mountain area sits on deep sand and gravel deposits, which generally excavate well and can produce usable on-site structural fill.
- East bench and Suncrest lots are steep enough that access road construction often precedes any house excavation.
- Commercial and flex-industrial development along the I-15 corridor drives pad and parking infrastructure work.
Draper is our northern anchor. The commercial corridor along the Point of the Mountain wants site packages delivered on a developer schedule, and the east bench wants a contractor who is comfortable working on a slope.
We do both, and we are already running equipment past Draper on the way to Salt Lake work.
