Grade is the one thing on a site that every later trade inherits. Concrete, asphalt, landscape, and drainage all live or die on it.
We grade to the stamped plan and coordinate the compaction testing so the results are in hand when the inspector arrives, not scrambled for afterward. On sloped Wasatch Back lots, where a foot of elevation is the difference between a walkout and a full basement, that precision is the whole job.
