Utility trench with pipe bedding on a J & J Services jobsite in American Fork Utah

Heavy civil & site work

Underground Utility Installation Contractor

Water, sewer, storm, gas, power, and fiber installed and tied in by one licensed crew — no handoff between the trench and the pipe.

Detail

Most utility failures are not pipe failures. They are bedding failures, compaction failures, and grade failures — trench problems, not material problems.

Running the excavation and the utility install with the same crew removes the seam where those problems live. The operator who cuts the trench is working to the same invert the pipe layer is setting to, and nobody is backfilling over someone else’s work sight unseen.

We hold E-100 General Engineering, so wet utility work is squarely inside our license, not something we sub out and mark up.

Municipal tie-ins

Each city on the Wasatch Front runs its own inspection sequence and its own specs for tapping an existing main. We handle the coordination, the traffic control, and the inspection scheduling as part of the scope.
